Ingredients:
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Brown sugar, granulated sugar, and creamy peanut butter should all be combined in a mixing bowl
Blend until thoroughly blended
To the peanut butter mixture, add the egg and vanilla extract
Work the dough until it comes together
After adding the salt and baking soda to the dough, stir everything together until well combined
Add the chocolate chips and stir until they are evenly mixed into the dough
Spoonfuls of dough should be dropped onto the prepared baking sheet, spaced about 2 inches apart, using a spoon or cookie scoop
Using a fork, gently press down on each cookie to make a crisscross pattern on top
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges of the cookies are just beginning to turn golden, in a preheated oven
After taking the cookies out of the oven, let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to finish cooling
Enjoy your thick, soft peanut butter chocolate chip cookies after theyve cooled
